Enterprise Data Models are typically offered at 2 or 3 levels of abstraction:
- Conceptual
- Logical (sometimes omitted)
- Physical
Conceptual Models are the highest level of data model and are key artifacts of Enterprise Architecture. Physical Models are typically within the auspices of the Application Architect. Logical models bridge the divide between the two.
